Transferring within and between terminals

The quickest method to transfer between terminals is by using the Aerotrén people mover. (This is a free service if you are in possession of a valid boarding card) There is also an Airport Shuttle Bus that operates between the two terminals. (2USD per passenger)

Aerotrén departures from Terminal 1 – Proceed to the moving staircase by Sala D (Level 1), turn left and walk to the middle of the bridge.

Aerotrén departures from Terminal 2 – Proceed to the left of the check-in desks on Level 1, Hall M.

From an international flight to an international/domestic flight – Clear immigration, customs and security with any check-in baggage, then place your baggage on the flight connections carousel located on the right hand side, before proceeding to your departure gate.

From a domestic flight to an international flight – Proceed directly to the appropriate terminal and departure gate.

How long does it take to transfer between terminals?

Aerotrén operates every 15 minutes between 06:00 - 22:00 and takes approximately seven minutes to transfer between the two terminals.
