Who we are
oneworld is an alliance of 11 International airlines, including airberlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Royal Jordanian and S7 Airlines.
As an alliance, oneworld and its members share information, including personal details of our customers.
Collecting personal information
oneworld collects personal information to help us better understand your travel needs and provide you with improved products and services. This information is collected from a variety of sources, including:
- When you voluntarily provide us with information
- When your internet browser visits our websites
- oneworld member airlines
- Third parties who provide other transportation services to you
The personal information we collect through these various sources may include, but is not limited to:

- Frequent flyer account information
- Travel information applicable to our member carriers

Aggregate information
When you visit our websites, we may use cookies, tags and associated technologies to collect non-personal information such as your browser type, your operating system, the name of your internet service provider and the web pages you visited.
This information helps us improve the functionality and navigation of our sites and tailor them to suit your needs. For example, we can ascertain how long the average user spends on our sites or which pages attract the most attention. This aggregate information does not identify you personally and is not used for promotional purposes.

Your personal information is shared with oneworld member airlines and their subsidiaries. Occasionally, we may share your personal information with third parties who have been engaged to process information on our behalf.
oneworld requires these third parties to comply with our Privacy Policy and principles when using this information. We may also share anonymous, non-personal aggregated information with third parties. oneworld does not sell your name or other personal information to third parties.
Can I find out what personal information has been collected?

Round-the-world booking tool
Our round-the-world booking tool collects your personal information to provide access to the booking system and facilitate payment. In booking your travel via the round-the-world booking tool, you consent to the collection and storage of your personal information and the use of that information by oneworld and its member carriers to help provide services relevant to your trip.
Please note: oneworld reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Revised policies will be posted here, and any modifications will apply to all information collected by oneworld, including previously collected information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to corporate information (unless it is about any identifiable person) or other websites accessed via a link from our websites.
