Japan Airlines
Established in 1951, Japan Airlines is one of the world’s premier carriers. It joined the oneworld® alliance in 2007. The airline has major hubs at Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Okinawa, and operates almost 900 daily flights to more than 70 destinations across 20 countries.

Travel classes
Japan Airlines offers up to four cabin classes on its international longhaul flights, including First Class, Executive Class (Business Class), Premium Economy and Economy.
Selected domestic flights also offer First Class and Class J (Business Class) travel.
Frequent flyers
As a member of Japan Airline's Mileage Bank Frequent Flyer Programme (JMB), you earn points towards your tier status every time you travel on eligible oneworld flights. And when you are ready to redeem your points, more than 750 destinations await you across the oneworld alliance.

Code-share partners
Japan Airliens code-shares with oneworld partners American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia and Qantas (including Jetstar), and has additional commercial agreements with some 15 other airlines, including Air France, Air New Zealand, China Eastern, China Southern, Emirates, Korean Air and Thai Airways.
Affiliates
JAL Express – JAL Express is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan Airlines. It operates domestic flights throughout Japan, as well as shorthaul international flights between Japan and China.
J-AIR – J-AIR is a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan Airlines International. It operates regional services from Nagoya Komaki to destinations throughout Japan.
Japan Transocean Air – Based at Okinawa Naha, Japan Transocean Air operates intra-island services throughout the Okinawa island group, plus links to mainland Japan.
