How can I join oneworld's frequent flyer programme?
oneworld's frequent flyer rewards and benefits are offered through the frequent flyer programmes of our member airlines. There is no separate oneworld frequent flyer programme. For further information on our member airline frequent flyer programmes, please click here.
How do I check if my frequent flyer programme account has been credited with miles earned by flying on another oneworld carrier?
Please contact the airline frequent flyer programme of which you are a member. If your points/miles have been credited incorrectly, please contact your host programme (the frequent flyer programme you intended the points/miles be credited to) for a retroactive credit. Ensure you keep your boarding cards from the flights travelled for validation.
What do the symbols "Emerald", "Sapphire", and "Ruby" stand for?
These symbols represent the three different levels of oneworld tier status. They help the oneworld airlines recognise the comparable tier status for other oneworld member airlines' programmes. oneworld tier status gives you a number of benefits across all oneworld carriers.
How do I find out what my oneworld tier status is?
You can easily find out on this website by reviewing the oneworld status for the member airline's frequent flyer programme to which you belong.
Which oneworld member frequent flyer programme should I join?
You are free to join any (or even all) of our members' programmes. We recommend you join the member with whom you fly most often.
Can I use my frequent flyer points/miles to upgrade within oneworld?
Some of our members allow customers of their frequent flyer programme to upgrade on flights operated by that member. However, there is no policy within oneworld allowing customers of one member's programme to upgrade on flights operated by another member.
Can I use the points/miles in my host programme for an award on another oneworld member flight?
Yes, contact your host programme to arrange award travel on other oneworld members.
Can I combine or transfer miles from one frequent flyer programme to another?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer miles between accounts. They must be used on awards offered by the frequent flyer programme in which they were earned.
Can I combine points/miles in two separate oneworld frequent flyer programme and use them towards a single award?
No, an award is booked through the programme in which the points/miles are registered. To avoid having points/miles in multiple programmes, ensure the points/miles you earn are credited to your preferred members frequent flyer programme.
