People around the world are thinking about how to provide lifesaving support for children and families impacted by the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Learn how oneworld member airlines are supporting Ukraine:
American Airlines: Funds collected in flight by flight attendants and online through American’s partnership with UNICEF’s Change for Good programme will be directed to support UNICEF and its humanitarian response in Ukraine. Visit American Airlines' website to learn more.
British Airways: Flying aid and medics to Ukraine and also redirecting onboard donations towards the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal. Visit British Airways' website to learn more.
Finnair: Finnair continues to support Ukrainians with a 95% discount on net fares for one-way tickets from Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Budapest and Prague to Helsinki, the key routes for those who are leaving Ukraine. The discount is available with code Ukraine95 at Finnair.com until 14 April. Airport taxes and fees will be added to ticket prices. Ukrainians can travel from Schengen countries to Finland also without a passport, with for example a birth certificate.
Finnair supports Ukrainians through UNICEF, and our customers have donated over 390 000 euros worth of Finnair Plus points to different charity organizations to help Ukraine. Iberia: Helped the Spanish Red Cross send 12 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Budapest to respond to the emergency in Ukraine, and has opened an internal channel so that Iberia employees can make donations to the Red Cross and UNICEF. Visit Iberia's website to learn more.
