Transferring within and between terminals

From an international flight to a domestic flight – Clear immigration and customs, collect your luggage and proceed to TAM baggage re-check/check-in on the arrivals floor of Terminal 3. Once your baggage has been re-checked, proceed to Terminal 2 via the connecting walkway or via the terminal transfer bus located outside arrivals.

From an international flight to an international flight – Proceed to the flight connections area to clear security. All oneworld international flights, including TAM international flights, depart from Terminal 3. 

From a domestic flight to an international flight – Proceed to the flight connections area to clear security. All oneworld international flights, including TAM international flights, depart from Terminal 3.

How long does it take to transfer within and between terminals?

Walking times differ based on gate and terminal location. Walking between terminals 2 and 3 takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Terminal 3 and Airline Relocations

With the opening of the new Terminal 3, many airlines moved operations within and between terminals.

American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, LAN and Qatar Airways have moved all services to Terminal 3.

TAM moved all international services to Terminal 3, with TAM domestic services now operating from Terminal 2.
