Ole Orvér
Chief Executive Officer
Ole Orvér is the Chief Executive Officer of the oneworld airline alliance. He assumed the role on 1 April 2026, bringing more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across commercial, network, and alliance management within the global aviation industry.
A Swedish national, Orvér joined oneworld from Finnair, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer. In that role, he led a wide-ranging transformation of the airline’s commercial and network strategy, delivering enhanced revenue performance, expanded loyalty propositions, and improved network connectivity.
Prior to Finnair, Orvér held leadership positions at Qatar Airways, Air Berlin, LOT Polish Airlines, and SAS Scandinavian Airlines. This breadth of experience provides a uniquely comprehensive understanding of airline economics, partnerships, and network dynamics across global markets.
Orvér holds a degree in Economics from Mid Sweden University and has completed the Strategic Thinking and Leadership Growth Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
